Calgary Alberta (May 28, 2013) - PK Sound is very proud to announce the launch of its Klarity line of powered professional loudspeakers, showcasing a more portable side to the famous PK brand. "We've held back for a long time because we believe portable sound should not mean compromised quality.  After extensive R&D and key collaborations with our partners we are finally ready to put the PK badge on these small yet incredibly powerful and articulate cabinets.", says PK President Jeremy Bridge.

In an effort to increase its product offering, PK has developed a series of loudspeakers that are considerably more portable than its CX and VX lines, but pack the same legendary power . According to PK's Director of Sales and Marketing Paul Magnuson, "this series has truly evolved from something our customers were asking for, to something we were passionate about bringing to market. We've always thought bigger, and now we just put bigger in a smaller box."

The four models in the new Klarity series include the KLARITY 8 (8-inch 2-way loudspeaker), KLARITY 12 (12-inch 2-way loudspeaker/stage monitor), KLARITY 18 (18-inch Subwoofer) and the KLARITY 218 (Dual 18-inch Subwoofer)

The Klarity 8 and Klarity 12 are suitable for standalone music and speech, and can be used as reinforcement in larger installations, complementing our CX and VX lines. Both models have a rotatable horn, which also provides a creative option for custom installs, improving coverage in tight areas. Their high efficiency class-D amplifiers help these speakers deliver performance above and beyond competing models, and when paired with the Klarity 18 or 218, these speakers become an exceptional full range system with applications in a myriad of environments, achieving surprisingly high SPLs for their compact design.

The entire line is extremely rugged, built with void free Baltic birch and finished with an impact resistant tour grade Poly-Eura coating that outlasts standard painted cabinets by years.
